Steele Co United Way Underway

The Steele County United Way campaign is gearing up for this fall's campaign. Representatives made an appearance in Owatonna at the Steele County Fair in August. On September 14 they'll be in Medford for the Tiger's football game against BA. At that time a Give United award will presented to a citizen. Plans are still in the works for kicking off the campaign in Blooming Prairie in October.

This year's Corporate Campaign Leader is the Owatonna Health Care Campus which includes the Mayo Clinic Health System, Owatonna Hospital and Koda Living.

This year's campaign goal is up from $725,000 last year to $750,000 for this year.

A newer way to give is online. Just go to the United Way of Steele County web site. The United Way invites you to stop by their new location as well on Austin Road. Their offices are located between Michaelson Funeral Home and Casey's.
