Steele County Fair Livestock Hall of Fame Nominations Due May 1

Nominations for the Steele County Livestock Hall of Fame is May 1, 2019. Inductees will be recognized Tuesday afternoon of the fair at the livestock show arena.

Nominations are being accepted for the Hall of Fame. These nominees are judged on their impact or influence upon the livestock industry be it county, state and or national. This leadership in the livestock industry and other contributions are considered as well.

The is also the Hall Fame Service award. These nominees need to have grown up in Steele County and gone on to do outstanding work in the livestock industry beyond the county and possibly the state. Nomination forms are available at the Steele County Free Fair Office.

A reminder to those who would like discounted tickets for either the Chris Kroeze of Chris Hawkey grand stand show at the fair or both shows, you have till March to go online to the Steele County Free Fair web site. Ticket prices go up on April 1. Dates for the 2019 fair are August 13-18.
