Steele County United Way Almost There

Kim Schaufenbuel Executive Director of the Steele County United Way was a guest on AM1390's Talk of the Town.This fall's campaign now stands at 97% of the $750,000 goal. The campaign has paced at 90% of the goal the entire month of December meaning just another $25,000 and the goal will be met.

The campaign will support 24 local agency programs and 5 United Way of Steele County Partner programs.

The campaign ends on December 31. A reminder you can now make a contribution by texting the United Way to 40403. You may also drop off a check at their office at 1850 Austin Road Ste. Owatonna.

In 2017, 12,862 Steele County residents were served y agencies and programs funded by the United Way of Steele County. This years Corporate Campaign Leader was the Owatonna Healthcare Campus which is comprised of Mayo Clinic Health System, Allina Owatonna Hospital and Koda Living Community.
