The best three phrases to describe my Nashville trip are bars, live music, and all kinds of people.

I do have to say my bank account is extremely happy to be home. This was a rather expensive vacation for me. Do I have any regrets? Heck no, y'all! Drinks are pricey, but they do get the job done if you know what I mean.

My group and I spent most of our time on Broadway. Therefore, my three favorite bars are along the popular street.

Tootsies Orchid Lounge was always busy, but they had great music that began when the doors opened and ended at bar close.

I truly wish more bars in Minnesota had live music. I LOVED singing along to the country hits (though everyone else in the bars probably preferred I didn't...).

Another staple of my trip was Rippy's Honky Tonk.

Great food here! In fact, it was SO good that we ate here twice. Though the second time was partly to give us an excuse to watch a talented young musician, who, might I add, was easy on the eyes.

Above all, Kid Rock's Big A** Honky Tonk was my most loved hangout.

We came here every night. The rooftop was spectacular, especially when dark. The views made me fall in love with the city. Plus, we meet plenty of interesting people here.

Though it's nice to be home, Nashville, I will be back.
