attempted murder

A verdict has been handed down in an Austin murder case.

Another hearing on his mental status is scheduled to take place in November.

The attack on the police officer occurred last month outside a Twin Cities business.

He was previously convicted of 2nd-degree murder in 2012 for the death of a 24-year-old man in St. Paul.

Court documents say it took 5 officers to subdue the woman following the knife attack.

A juvenile witness gave police a revised statement about the incident.

The victim suffered 10 stab wounds.

Firefighters had to rescue a 9-month-old child from the burning home.

A plea agreement resulted to the dismissal of first-degree attempted murder and other charges.

The charges say he told police that his intention was to kill his landlord.
