Murder charges have been added to the criminal complaint against a Kenyon Man.

The crash was one of more than 250 reported across Minnesota as a messy winter storm battered the state Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.

Forecasters with the National Weather Service say lingering snow is possible until 8:00 Wednesday morning.

The crash occurred Saturday afternoon at an intersection just north of Zumbrota.

Court records show he previously served a prison sentence for a conviction stemming from a fatal shooting in Rochester.

The State Patrol responded to the crash scene shortly after 9:00 Sunday night.

The McDonald's Restaurant is located on the east side of Highway 52.

Two vehicles were involved in the deadly collision.

Foot tracks show he left the house on a wooded trail toward the Cannon River on the eastern edge of Cannon Falls with his dog as a normal routine.

Footprints were found on the ice at the edge of the Cannon River.
