The 2023 Smokin' In Steele Barbeque & Blues Festival is this Friday and Saturday at the Steele County Fairgrounds in Owatonna.

This past weekend, the Owatonna KC's presented their donation of $8,000 to the Owatonna Area Special Olympics delegation, at one of the Poly Hockey practices.

Friday night, there was a special tour offered for Special Olympics right here in Steele County, and there were a few people who are involved with Owatonna Area Special Olympics who showed up.

Warm, windy conditions greeted nearly 150 runners and walkers for the sixth annual Smokin' in Steele 5K to benefit Owatonna Special Olympics on Saturday.
