Take an Unforgettable Tour of a Burger Farm in Western Wisconsin
Over the border in western Wisconsin, you can take an unforgettable tour of a burger farm. The farm is called Together Farms and it's in Mondovi, Wisconsin and according to the Airbnb Experience listing, it'll only cost you $5 per person to go on the tour.
First, let's touch on who the owners of Together Farms are. It's a husband and wife duo, Stephanie and Andy, who bought the farm because they knew they wanted land and farm but had zero farming experience. Now here they are with an amazing farm with organically raised animals.
What the heck is a burger farm? Basically, they call themselves a burger farm because on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays May through October they host Burger Nights. And of course the meat that's used comes from the animals that are raised on the farm. Plus, from June through August on Saturdays you can sign up for a tour of the farm before you sit down to enjoy your burger.
In total, Together Farms is 160 acres. They have organically raised and grass-fed beef cattle and lamb, organically raised pastured pork, and in a video I watched about the farm (which you can find below) I see a few chickens running around too. They're a certified naturally grown farm as well.
Not only do they host tours and Burger Nights, but they also host Chef Dinners on the Farm. During Chef Dinners on the Farm, a local gourmet chef will put together a multi-course "seasonal and farm-inspired" meal. Each course will be "expertly paired with locally-sourced wine or beer that brings out the best in each dish." On top of the great events hosted by Together Farms, they also sell their meat in their store and sell meat to local restaurants.
Right now I don't see a spot to buy tickets for Chef Dinners on the Farm on their website, but maybe that's yet to come for this year! You can, however, get tickets to take a tour of the farm and there are plenty of upcoming burger nights. You can get tickets for a tour HERE and you can see Together Farms' events calendar HERE.
Did you know there's also a pizza farm just over the border in Wisconsin, too? You can even stay the night there! Keep scrolling to check out pictures.
