Instead of the Land of 10,000 Lakes, perhaps Minnesota should be known as the Land of 10,000 pick-ups.

That's because, according to this new survey by ISeeCars.com, pick-up trucks-- and one in particular-- are once again the Most Popular Cars here in Minnesota. Their latest study looked at over 19 million vehicle sales for 2019 to determine the most popular used and new cars across the United States by metro area and state.

And, yep, the pick-up truck is once again on top both here in Minnesota and across the country, the survey said. However, just which pick-up is on top is where the Bold North is different from many other parts of the country. While the Ford F-150 takes the top spot in the 2019 Most Popular Cars survey for most of the country, that's not the case here.

So which truck is on top here in the North Star State? Well, the ISeeCars survey says it's the Chevrolet Silverado 1500. Never fear, though, the Ford F-150 is right behind as the number-two Most Popular Car (or, more accurately, vehicle) in Minnesota. Rounding out the top five spots are the Ram Pick-up 1500, the Chevrolet Equinox and the Jeep Cherokee.

While I'm not surprised that a pick-up is most popular here in Minnesota-- and three of them placed in our top five-- I am a little surprised more crossover SUV's aren't in the top five. I seem to see some type of SUV all the time! Did YOUR ride make the 2019 Most Popular Cars List? You can check out the complete ISeeCars.com Most Popular Cars survey HERE.
