Truck With Five Occupants Crashes Near Owatonna
Owatonna, MN (KROC AM News) - Seatbelts helped three kids and two adults in a pickup truck avoid serious injuries when it rolled in Steele County.
The Minnesota State Patrol says the truck was on I-35 south of Owatonna around 8:00 AM Saturday when it left the roadway and rolled in a ditch.
The truck was driven by 39-year-old David Johnson of Blooming Prairie. His passengers were identified as 8-year-old Landon Alikz, 9-year-old Trenton Johnson, 7-year-old Zoey Johnson and 31-year-old Jesseca Steinborn of Le Sueur. She was the only one who was hurt and was taken to Owatonna Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The State Patrol says all five were wearing seatbelts.
