T.C. Bear, the Minnesota Twins mascot, got into quite the impressive drum battle with a Minnesota high school student at Target Field recently.

It's not every day you get to see a full-grown bear play the drums, but that's what happened Tuesday at Target Field, when the Twins' mascot, T.C. Bear, got into an impromptu drum battle with a member of the percussion line from the Waconia High School Band. (Waconia is located just west of the Twin Cities along Minnesota Highway-5, a little under two hours northwest of Rochester.)

According to a post on the Waconia High School Bands Facebook page, the bands had spent the day at Target Field and performed a pre-game concert before the rare Tuesday day game that featured the Twins and the Reds. (Spoiler alert: the Twins lost, 10 to 7.) They also performed the National Anthem before the game as well.

But it was while a Waconia High School student, identified only as 'Mason,' was walking through Target Field when he encountered T.C., the lovable Twins mascot, who, of course, happens to be a bear. He joined the Twins family back in 2000, when the team still played its home games at the Metrodome.

Now, while bears here in Minnesota have been known to dig through our trash at a campsite or show up on your trail camera, they're not usually known to be great drummers. But T.C. isn't your average bear, apparently. He's got some pretty mad percussion skills, which he displayed as he then challenged Mason to a drum battle right then and there.

I won't spoil the ending, but it IS a pretty cool video. Check it out below!
