UPDATED: Names Released in Fatal Traffic Wreck Near Mantorville

Mantorville, MN (KROC AM News) - There was a fatal traffic accident Sunday near Mantorville.

The Minnesota State Patrol says two vehicles collided at the intersection of Highway 57 and Dodge Cty Rd 16 around 11:30 AM.

The Patrol says a car driven by 58-year-old Mark Johnson of Owatonna was eastbound on County Rd 16 when it collided with a pickup truck that was headed north on Highway 57. Johnson died at the scene.

The truck was driven by 54-year-old  Bradley Schmidt of Hayfield.There were  two passengers in his vehicle - 58-year-old Mary Schmidt and 20-year-old Danielle Schmidt, also from Hayfield. All three were taken to St. Marys Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
