Saturday is Veterans Day, and we're all invited to the dedication ceremony and program for the new veterans memorial in Owatonna.

The memorial project has been thirteen years in the making, and now it's time to discover, explore, and remember the new memorial, located near the Steele County Historical Society at 18th Street and Austin Road.

The ceremony will start Saturday morning at 9:00 am sharp, before moving inside the Steele County Historical Society building for the dedication program.

Most Visited State Parks In Minnesota: Is Your Favorite in the List?

Minnesota has 75 beautiful state parks. The parks have an average of 9,700,000 visitors each year. Interestingly enough, nearly 19% of park visitors come from other states and countries, according to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. Now, my favorite State Park is Jay Cooke in Carlton, MN, but it did not break into the top 5.
