International borders are slowly opening their doors to travel. Yet, there are still a lot of unknowns when it comes to international travel.

However, have no fears because this weekend you can travel to different countries all from the comfort of Central Park in Faribault.

The 16th Annual International Festival, held by the Faribault Diversity Coalition, is this Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm, and the event is free to attend!

Faribault's International Festival Highlights:

  • Free Entertainment
  • Flag Ceremony
  • Food Cuisine From Around The World (arguably the best part!)
  • Arts and Crafts
  • International Dancers
  • Piñata
  • Henna Tattoos
  • Information Booths
  • Music

(Just a heads up, no alcohol is allowed in the park)

Faribault Diversity Coalition, a local non-profit, has been hard at work prepping for the event. In fact, you can track their hard work on their Facebook page.

The kids may find the piñata as the highlight, but personally, I think the live entertainment is bound to be fascinating.

If you're still not convinced this event will be worth the trip to Faribault, check out last year's Festival video. Pretty rad.

Not only does the event look delightful, but you can also learn a lot of valuable information from the booths about the different countries and cultures.

As I wrote earlier, the event is free, but the Faribault Diversity Coalition is gratefully accepting donations. If you'd like to donate, scan the QR code below or contact any member on the board of directors.

Rain or shine, the event is bound to be a good time.
