Officials at MOA say thousands of bugs will be released inside the mall on Thursday.

According to the Mall's website there are over 30,000 plants inside the mall and 400 live trees. The lady bugs being released act as a natural pesticide. Have you ever spotted lady bugs while shopping at MOA? Apparently they release them a few times each year.

According to the Star Tribune: "The bugs, supplied by a local pest control company, act as a natural pesticide on the park’s plants by eating common pests such as aphids. The releases have been going on since the mall opened in 1992 and are done a few times a year."
