Last nights Super Bowl featured some Minnesotans on the field with Tyler Johnson of North Minneapolis fame, and Antoine Winfield Jr, a Golden Gopher, getting their first championship ring. Along with Johnson and Winfield on the sidelines as time expired was another Minnesotan, Tom Moore, who collected his 4th championship ring.

While Tom Moore may have gone to high school in Rochester and attended college in Iowa it's still a fact that he was born in Owatonna. Tom Moore, an offensive consultant for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, claimed his 4th championship ring with the 31-9 win. Moore also has claimed rings with Indianapolis and Pittsburgh.

Moore has been a coach in some form since 1965, a period that extends some 56 years of coaching. Moore started his career as a graduate assistant for Iowa in 1961 and hasn't looked for another type of career since.

The 82-year-old was on the sidelines during the game last night and was seen towards the end of the game giving Tampa Bay Head Coach Bruce Arians some professional congratulations on the sidelines.

Moore may best be known for the 10 years he spent as offensive coordinator of the Indianapolis Colts and Peyton Manning from 1998-2008.

It's unknown if Tom Moore will be back as an assistant next year, at the age of 83, or if he will now ride off into retirement with the 4th NFL Championship ring of his long and rewarding career as both a coach and consultant.
