
Woman Killed in Crash Near Waseca
Waseca, MN (KROC-AM News) - The State Patrol says a woman killed in a traffic crash this morning near Waseca was not wearing a seatbelt.
The preliminary report on the deadly crash indicates the 43-year-old woman from Inver Grove Heights went through a stop sign at a rural intersection along Highway 13 and collided with a northbound SUV. The other driver, 26-year-old James Keaton of Lonsdale, was transported to the Mayo Clinic Health Care System Hospital in Mankato with non-life-threatening injuries. The name of the woman killed in the crash has not been released.
The State Patrol says the deadly collision was reported around 6:20 AM about 5 miles north of Waseca.
