Survey Says Wisconsin and Iowa Have Some of the Worst Drivers in the Country
I'm always complaining about other drivers, just ask my husband. I seem to think that every time I'm on the road all of the terrible drivers decide it's time for them to also be out driving. Sigh, every place has its bad drivers but apparently, Wisconsin and Iowa have some of the worst in the country.
This is according to a survey that was done by QuoteWizard. They "analyzed over 10 million insurance quotes" and looked at these four factors to figure out the rankings: accidents, speeding tickets, DUIs, and citations. So the more a state had the lower they'd be on the list.
Let's look at the 10 states with the worst drivers in the country! Can you guess which states made it?
10. Rhode Island
9. Hawaii
8. Arizona
7. Virginia
6. North Dakota
5. Ohio
4. Wisconsin
3. Iowa
2. California
1. Utah
Yikes, yep, Wisconsin came in at number 4 and Iowa at number 3.
Obviously, we need to know which states have the best drivers, too. Let's check out that top 10:
10. Vermont
9. Louisiana
8. Maine
7. New Hampshire
6. Kentucky
5. Arkansas
4. Delaware
3. West Virginia
2. Michigan
1. Connecticut
So my only question is, where in the world did Minnesota rank? Apparently, Minnesota is the 20th-best state for driving, so pretty much right in the middle.
Do you agree with these rankings? I've said in past posts about driving, some of the worst driving I've seen was in Florida. Florida did come in as the 21st-worst state for driving so that checks out.
