Hy-Vee Financial Services is now a thing. Yep, you can now do all of your banking at the same place you pick up your groceries, get your prescriptions filled, buy flowers for your sweetheart or your garden, grab a drink and bite to eat at Wahlburgers, get a check-up in the minute clinic, get your dry cleaning done, buy clothes, and soon you'll also be able to get your nails done in the store. Hy-Vee has a lot going on - Did I miss anything?

Hy-Vee says its customers can now sign up for "checking and savings accounts, auto and home insurance, home mortgages, consumer loans, and pet insurance." The grocery chain says Hy-Vee Fuel Saver + Perks and Hy-Vee Plus premium members will get special access to insurance services and qualify for additional savings on mortgage loans and pet insurance.

The announcement was made on the company's corporate website. In a press release, Hy-Vee Chairman, CEO and President Randy Edeker said, “Customers are now seeking more affordable and more convenient financial options. By leveraging our ownership of our subsidiary Midwest Heritage, we are able to serve our customers in a new way that meets those needs, while also bringing more value to our Hy-Vee Fuel Saver + Perks and Hy-Vee Plus members.”

Hy-Vee serves 8 states in the midwest and will also offer life insurance policies, health insurance plans in the near future. Customers are encouraged to look for the contactless kiosks, which are currently installed in more than 200 Hy-Vee stores, for more information on the financial services available.
