The 21st Rice County Steam and Gas Engines Swap Meet and Flea Market will occur from 8 am to 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday on the showgrounds in Dundas, MN. If you're unfamiliar with the area, it is three miles south of Northfield on Highway 3.

You can find a lot of treasures here! The market includes antique tractors, antique car parts, gas engines, tools, machinery, cast iron seats, toys, pedal tractors, literature, glassware, furniture, collectibles, crafts, and license plates. (Unique, no?)

The event will be held rain or shine, and everyone is welcome! Plus, admission is free.

A consignment auction will happen on Saturday at 9 am. You can bring in items on Thursday and Friday, but all commissions will be donated to the club. To consign, call Larry Valek at 612-978-6901.

If you'd like to be a part of the flea market itself, it's $30 for outdoor space (size is 30 by 30) and $40 for indoor space (which sells out fast). Setup will occur from 8 am-8 pm on Friday. There is NO early setup.

As if you're not overloaded with information yet, a tractor pull is scheduled for Sunday at 9 am. Registration opens at 7 am.

Of course, no swap meet or flea market is complete without food stands. Luckily, food AND breakfast will be able both Saturday and Sunday.

For information on the flea market, contact Sandy Bouillez at 507-581-6223. For general information, call Larry Condon at 507-330-3363 or Roger Janak at 952-652-2062.

If you already have plans this Memorial Weekend, no worries. You can check out the Fall Show on Labor Day Weekend!
