Zollman Zoo in Southeast Minnesota Makes Sad Announcement

Some super sad news for animal lovers hit Minnesota on Tuesday, March 14th.  An animal that many in Southeast Minnesota have loved to visit at Zollman Zoo has unfortunately passed away.

Zollman Zoo, located at 5731 County Rd 105 NW in Byron, Minnesota shared on social media the following note:

"We are sad to announce the passing of our almost 19 year old female Bobcat. She lived a long life at the Zollman Zoo and her health was quickly deteriorating at the end. Thank you to all of you that have come to visit the zoo and learn from our wonderful ambassador animals!"

Outdoor Classroom Fun in Byron, Minnesota

If you've got kids, I highly recommend heading out to let your little ones explore the outdoor classroom that is right next to the parking lot by Zollman Zoo in Byron, Minnesota. It is A-Maz-Ing! Tunnels, musical instruments, planets that you have to find, and even a teeter-totter made out of a log is there to enjoy. Probably one of my favorites though is what I call "Little Bean". I snapped a selfie with it and a few photos to give you a glimpse at the exhibits. Check those out below...
