It's all fun and games until you end up with a felony while on vacation. A Minnesota man said something wild while being arrested in the 'Sunshine State'.

It's always fun to get out of your home state and go on a little vacation. Sometimes, we indulge a little too much, and end up in some trouble.

According to The Smoking Gun, a 35-year-old Minnesota man was on vacation in Clearwater, Florida when he decided to break into an office building in the city. The report stated that a man broke a window to enter the property and also noted the property was not open to the public.

An office cleaning crew member confronted the Minnesotan, to which the man said "I'm leaving". The vacationer apparently exited out the front door with a "trash bag of alcohol bottles in one hand and a fire extinguisher in the other".

This incident happened around 12:30 AM, when officers were questioning the 35-year-old, he stated:

It’s a fun time to be drunk and to have a fire extinguisher

Yeah, that probably wasn't the best thing to say to officers, after being read his rights. The man was charged with two felonies (burglary and grand theft), and one misdemeanor (petty theft).

It was also noted that the Minnesotan was booked into the county jail, instead of a $20,250 bond. The man was also being held on a felony arrest warrant for failing to show up at a Minnesota court hearing in connection to allegedly stealing laptops from a Best Buy store.

It was not reported what the man was doing in Florida other than assuming he was on vacation. It is also unknown why he grabbed a fire extinguisher or what his intentions were with it.

If you're curious, these crimes will add to the Minnesotan's rap sheet which includes convictions for assault, fleeing police, fraud, DWI, assaulting a peace officer, and more.
