Construction plans are already being made for the Minnesota site, but Mother Nature will ultimately decide when it opens for the season. You'll definitely want to plan a trip once the doors do open.

An Icy Wonderland Is Returning to Minnesota

"Winter is such a magical time of year," said Ice Castles CEO Kyle Standifird, "We're honored to be returning to beautiful Long Lake Regional Park and have some fun new discoveries and surprises in store for guests of all ages."

The Ice Castles at Long Lake Regional Park features, "adrenaline-pumping slides, caverns, tunnels, crawl spaces and world-class sculptures all made entirely from ice. The award-winning frozen attraction will also debut a new ice bar offering a selection of adult beverages this winter, plus a reimagined and enhanced light walk, and fun whimsical winter characters that will be inside the castle for guests to meet."

Planning has already started and the ice artisans should begin building the castles in November.
