Big Thrill Factory Closes its Minnetonka Location Permanently

It's something we have seen a lot of recently and it will not be stoping anytime soon. Another business has shut it doors for good.

Unfortunately, big indoor entertainment centers do not work in this current COVID-19 world. The Big Thrill Factory announced that they have decided to close their Minnetonka location early last week. The Minnesota based entertainment center offers a variety of fun such as go-karts, indoor trampoline parks, laser tag and more!

Our Minnetonka location is closed. We really appreciate being able to create fun memories for so many people in Minnetonka and the surrounding communities. The good news is the FUN continues at our Oakdale location (all Minnetonka play cards are valid at this location)

According to Big Thrill, the decision to close the Minnetonka location was based on sales were based mainly on events while at the Oakdale location, it's a "healthy mix of both".

With COVID, there is no clear sign to when society will be ready to gather again for group events and as such we are unable to create a business model that works for this location
