Christmas In The Country Comes To Ellendale

The annual Christmas in the Country observance will take place this Friday and Saturday, December 8 and 9 in Ellendale. It begins with the Christmas Tree Lighting at 6:30PM followed by refreshments in the community building. This will be followed by Holiday Bingo. 20 games for $20 with proceeds going toward the community sign project.

The Holiday Craft Fair will take place Saturday from 11-5PM in the Community Building. A number of crafts, Christmas goodies and Christmas gift ideas will be featured.

The Ellendale United Methodist Church will serve a soup and bread lunch from 11-2PM with a free will offering.

Santa Bingo For Kids will be at 2PM with Santa making his arrival after the games are completed around 3PM. This year's bingo will be at Whispering Oaks. You're invited to come by whispering Oaks and enjoy the Tour The Trees and Open House from 3-5PM.

Carey Langer will be performing at the Ellendale Municipal Liquor Store from 4-7Pm to wrap up the weekend.
