The Steele County Clothesline will host their 2nd annual Come Fly With Me fund raiser  Friday, January 26 at the Owatonna Country Club. It starts at 6PM and will feature food and drink from 4 areas of the country. Those areas are Hawaiian, New England, New Orleans and Super Bowl. The Super Bowl of course will be in Minnesota next month. When you enter, you'll receive your passport which you take to the 4 areas and answer a number of trivia questions for a chance to win a prize. Tickets are $50 and need to be purchased by January 20. You can purchase tickets through Eventbrite or at the Clothesline.

Use of the Clothesline hasn't slowed down one bit. Over 1,300 children age 17 and under registered at Clothesline last year. Maureen Schlobohm was a guest on AM 1390's Talk of the Town. She mentioned that quite a few more users of Clothesline are not necessarily unemployed but under employed. She also noticed quite a few more senior citizens using their services for the first time last year. The Clothesline has handed out over 1,000 coats already this winter.

Items especially in need of at the Clothesline includes large size clothing, winter apparel and there is quite often more of a need for men's clothing than women's.
