Colder air is being forecasted for the first week of November, and the colder temperatures mean many places across Southern Minnesota are closing their patios up. One Southern Minnesota brewery is embracing the colder weather that is coming and is already offering up igloos for people to enjoy, along with a beer or two.

Mineral Springs Brewery posted about the return of their rentable igloos, prefer the term drinkin' dome. The igloos are available for reservation through the breweries website, my guess is weekends will fill up faster than other days of the week.

The post by Mineral Springs Brewery shows you what the domes/ingloos look like if you didn't get a chance to see them last winter. Not all of the domes/igloos are set up, and won't be until the weather turns and stays colder.

The domes hold four people, maybe a few more, with some room to spare, and it sure beats sitting out in the wind, snow, and cold during the winter months.

The igloos were a COVID-19 idea that has stuck around, as last year the brewery wasn't able to have many people inside the brewery when they were allowed to be open for business.

So will you embrace Minnesota's winter with a locally brewed beer while enjoying the confines of a drinkin' dome?

Most Visited State Parks In Minnesota: Is Your Favorite in the List?

Minnesota has 66 beautiful state parks. The parks have an average of 9,700,000 visitors each year. Interestingly enough, nearly 19% of park visitors come from other states and countries, according to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. Now, my favorite State Park is Jay Cooke in Carlton, MN, but it did not break into the top 5.
