The Faribault Falcons girls hockey team ranks second in the state in scoring with 87 goals in 13 games.  Warroad leads the state with 89 goals in 13 games.  Falcons senior Olivia Williamson is second in goals scored and total points behind Warroad's Hannah Corneliusen in both categories.

Corneliusen has 30 goals, Williamson 23.  Corneliusen has 44 points, Williamson 41.  Faribault senior Abigail Goodwin is 12th in the state with 16 goals.  Corneliusen has 30 penalty minutes, Williamson 6.

Williamson was among several players nominated for the Minnesota Girls Hockey Hub Performer of the Week last week but did not capture the honor which is determined by votes cast.  It's unfortunate because she had back to back 4 goal games.

Senior Faribault goalie Mikayla Bohner is 8th in goals against average and 8th in save percentage in the state.  Northfield sophomore Maggie Malecha ranks 3rd in save percentage and 9th in goals against average.

Bohner has a 1.27 goals against average, Malecha 1.30.  Bohner's save percentage is .943, Malecha's .947.

The Falcons are averaging 34.7 shots on goal per game while their opponents have averaged 19.7 shots on goal.

Andover has the best power play percentage at 41.4 percent.  Rochester Lourdes is #3 in that statistic with a 36.4 percent power play.  Farmington is 4th at 35.7 percent.

The Mankato West Scarlets lead the Big Nine with a 25.8 percent power play.  Northfield is next at 25 percent.  Faribault is third with a 22.2 percent power play.
