Florida Georgia Line’s Next Album Will Include a Jason Aldean Collaboration
It's no secret that Florida Georgia Line and Jason Aldean are frequent collaborators -- both members of the country duo have cowriting credits on Aldean's latest single, "You Make it Easy," and have written several more of his hits. Now, it looks like the country singer will be returning the favor for his Florida Georgia Line pals: During a recent interview with Y108's Broadway's Backyard, FGL's Tyler Hubbard revealed that Aldean will be featured on one of the songs on their upcoming fourth studio album.
"You know what, as of last week....we got Aldean to sing one with us," Hubbard shares in the radio interview. The pair hinted that they were hopeful about a few other collaborations to be included on the new album, but said that nothing else has been set in stone yet. "We don't have anybody else locked down," Hubbard adds.
"We're still waiting for the right opportunities," the singer goes on to say. "We don't like to force that. Just kind of wait and see what happens. We're really excited about the song we did with [Aldean.] It sounds awesome."
The country star had few details to share about the song, as both the track and the upcoming album have a ways to go before they're ready for release. However, Hubbard did share that fans can expect a new single from the duo sometime this summer.
"I'm not sure on the date, exactly, but sometime late this summer we'll probably put one out, and we'll get it going," Hubbard elaborates. "We're really, really excited, and putting some final things on the mixes and trying to make them as special as possible. They're coming together really nice, and we can't wait for the world to hear it."
Most recently, the duo is enjoying record-breaking cross-genre success with "Meant to Be," their collaboration with pop artist Bebe Rexha.
