Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A man and woman from Rochester were formally arraigned in Olmsted County court today on multiple felony charges connected to a significant drug bust that took place on Tuesday.

Tip Received by Rochester Detective

The criminal complaints against 36-year-old Mark Cody Alzamora and 33-year-old Sieherra Leah Colglazier say they were arrested on Tuesday after a Rochester Police Department detective received a tip that Colglazier, who was wanted on a felony arrest warrant, was in the area of Barlow Plaza in northwest Rochester. The detective reported that he saw the woman in a vehicle with Alzamora when another man got into the vehicle and exited a short time later in activity that the detective described as consistent with a drug transaction.

Traffic Stop and Search

The court documents say that led to a traffic stop and a search of the vehicle after a K-9 alerted to the presence of drugs. Officers involved in the search reported finding just over 47 grams of suspected methamphetamine in a bag on the front passenger seat and approximately 453 grams of suspected methamphetamine behind the driver’s seat.

Alzamora is charged with first-degree drug sales and first-degree drug possession, while Colglazier was arraigned on first-degree drug sales and second-degree drug possession charges.
