Keith Urban just announced 50 dates for his 2022 Speed of Now world tour and he's planning to play the last show here in Minnesota.

Like most of us, Keith Urban has been laying low during the pandemic-- well, if you call being a judge on the Australian version of the TV show 'The Voice' laying low-- but he's set to get back out and play live concerts again in 2022.

Keith's crew Wednesday released the first set of dates for his The Speed of Now Tour that will get rolling next year. The tour kicks off in June during a three-day residency in Las Vegas before heading north of the border to Toronto.

He'll play shows here in our neck of the woods in the Midwest in Des Moines and Milwaukee in August of next year. Then in the fall, he'll be in Chicago; Madison, Wis; and St. Louis. But he'll wrap up the tour right here in Minnesota.

Keith's The Speed of Now Tour is set to visit the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul on November 5th, 2022. The last time Keith was here in Minnesota was when his Graffiti U Tour played a date at Target Center in October of 2018.

And I'm thinking being the last show on his new tour is a good thing. I've seen Keith live probably 5 or 6 times and he always puts on a great show. But I'm thinking he might even put a little extra in his last show, right?

Ingrid Andress is set to open for Keith during The Speed of Now Tour. Tickets for all shows go on sale next Friday, December 10th. You can check the full list of tour dates below:

Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman were living it up in their 5,086-square-foot, 4-bedroom farmhouse in Franklin, Tenn., a rural community 30 minutes outside of Nashville. The house is beautifully well-appointed. The master bedroom features a very large walk-in closet, and the gated, 35-acre property also includes a gym, recreation rooms, an office and a three-car garage, as well as a utility barn. The couple sold their rural farmhouse in 2018 for $2.7 million.
