Kenyon-Wanamingo Homecoming Coronation was held Monday night at the high school auditorium.  Each Head Coach of a fall sport gave a brief report of how their season was going before the 2019 King and Queen were crowned.

The Masters of Ceremony were Alisha Ramirez and Caroline Doehling.  After welcoming everyone to the event they introduced each of the fall coaches.  Trap Shooting-Larrly Walker, Cheerleading-Belle Patterson, Soccer-Tony Bendickson, Football-Jake Wieme, Volleyball-Jen Nerson, Cross Country-Kallie Bauer.

2018 King and Queen Kassandra Keller and Dylan Steberg were back to assist with the Crowning Ceremony.

Keller went behind each King candidate a few times before placing the crown on the head of Tate Erlandson.

Erlandson did the honors of crowning the Queen and also went behind each candidate a few times before resting the Tiara on the head of Courtney Lehman.

Other members of the Queen Court include, Arlette Becerril, Julianna Boyum, Sydney Burow, Riley Dummer and Taylor Kish.

Other King candidates were Daniel Benrud, Cole Flom, Wyatt Foss, Thomas Haasnoot and Corey Knott.

Queen Lehman and King Erlandson will reign over the week filled with activities in observance of Homecoming capped off by the football game Friday night.

Kenyon-Wanamingo hosts Faribault Bethlehem Academy.  KDHL, 920 AM and the KDHL app will broadcast the game with Mark Dorenkamp on the call.
