The pandemic has disrupted all of our lives, especially at the beginning of the pandemic. Of course, it hit small businesses the hardest, especially hair salons. Susan Chin, a hairstylist in Burnsville, Minnesota, felt it at her brick-and-mortar location so she decided now was the time to take on another business venture: a hair salon on wheels called The Chandelier Suite Hair Boutique.

This salon on wheels is beautiful and so fancy-looking! Susan talked to FOX 9 about her idea and she said if she didn't do it, someone else was going to. This salon on wheels is perfect for people looking for someone to do their wedding party's hair, for prom, or even for parties.

Susan said she got the trailer from a Minnesota trailer company that specializes in custom-made fish houses. So she went to them with this idea and they were able to work together to build this beautiful salon on wheels.

Maybe you figured this out already but I was thinking that she would be able to cut hair in this salon, but it doesn't appear that way. I believe the trailer is only for styling hair for weddings, prom, etc.

Susan still has her brick-and-mortar location (also named, The Chandelier Suite Hair Boutique) in Burnsville but now she also has The Chandelier Suite Hair Boutique Luxury Mobile Boutique as well.

I think it's so cool that Susan and the company she worked with were able to take what's usually a fishing house and turn it into this amazing salon!
