The event begins with (you guessed it) a pork chop lunch at noon. The shotgun start is at 1:00 pm, social hour and awards ceremony is at 6:30. There are prizes for hole in one, longest drive, longest putt and piggy poo shots. It is a 18 hole, 4 person scramble all for only $85 per person. If you do not have a team, just show up and they will team you up with 3 other golfers! Jeff Schultz said they have had some very good golfers and others that maybe should bring a few extra gold balls in case you loose a few?

The Rice County Pork Producers and Dakota Rice Corn and Soybean Growers have teamed up with Ag Future of America based in Kansas City and award two $3200 scholarships. In addition to the cash scholarships award recipients are required to attend a leadership conference in Kansas City with CEO's, CFO's, Project Managers, and Sales Managers of large National and International Agri-Business. What is really unique is there will be around 700 scholarship winners and 400 Agri-Business leaders!

Scholarship winners will have the opportunity to meet these leaders, not just listen to them speak to a large group.
