Living Well with Chronic Conditions is a workshop starting up next week for those living with a chronic disease. Examples would include diabetes, arthritis, high blood pressure, depression, heart disease, fibromyalgia and others.

These workshops will be offered on Wednesdays from 1-3:30PM starting September 13 and continuing for 6 weeks at Koda Living Community on NW 30th Street in Owatonna. The program will cover a different topic each week. Among the topics to be covered include finding better ways to deal with pain and or fatigue, improving nutrition, understanding new treatment options, learning the appropriate use of medications and more. Spouses, friends and caregivers of participants in the classes are welcome as well. One of the biggest benefits reported by past participants is the exchange of dialogue and advice from others suffering from similar afflictions.

To find out more about these free workshops, call Linda Hoffman at (507)-977-2171.

These classes are open to all ages.
