Owatonna's 4 x 200 girls' relay is making its third straight appearance at the state track and field meet at Hamline Saturday and are joined this year by the boys' 4 x 200. Medford's Luke Johnston is back to defend his state titles in the wheelchair division of the shot put and discus.

OHS sends a pair of individuals as well. Triton has a boys' relay team and Nell Graham in three events at state. NRHEG qualified a pair of boys during Saturday's section finals. Class AA competes in the morning and early afternoon Friday and Saturday, June 8-9. Class A has the afternoon shift.

Owatonna's girls' relay consists of Ava Wolfe, Sydney Schultz, Sara Anderson and Margo Achterkirch. Schultz and Achterkirch have been on the relay each of the three years. The boys' group is Alex Raichle, Dalton Kubista, Brandon Schmidt and Jason Williamson. Kubista will also triple jump. Colton Camholz qualified in the pole vault.

The Tigers' Johnston is joined by teammate Rachael Luebbe who will high jump.

The Cobras' Graham will high jump plus run the 400 and 800. She ran the 400 last year at state. She becomes the first Triton female athlete to qualify in three events for state.

NRHEG's Brady Agrimson qualified in the 110 and 300 hurdles and Ryan Hannegrefs will triple jump.
