Coffee lovers, get excited because the Minneapolis-based Spyhouse Coffee Roasters is expanding with a new Rochester location… And it opened TODAY!

The new café, which will be Spyhouse’s seventh location, is located at the TownePlace Suites near downtown Rochester (2nd St. & 6th Ave. SW.).

Bring Me The News posted an article about the opening last week and shared what general manager Preston Bennett said. “We are thrilled to welcome Spyhouse to the TownePlace Suites in Rochester… Rochester is a thriving city, and we are pleased to expand the hotel offerings for our guests and the community as a whole.”

The new location, which will be open seven days a week (6 a.m. to 10 p.m.), will feature Spyhouse’s full drink menu. In addition, it will also offer packaged coffee blends and “a variety of food items from Minneapolis-based Patisserie 46.”

But wait, there’s more! As explained in an article from KTTC, the Rochester location is the first Spyhouse Coffee to sell wine along with local craft beer! WOOHOO!

KTTC shared a quote from Spyhouse’s market president, Kevin Wencel:

“We think that crowd that comes in in the morning grabs their coffee may stop back in the later afternoon or a glass of wine or a beer on their way home, and certainly a great amenity for the hotel guests as well,”

As someone who is a great fan of Spyhouse, I am very excited to see the business grow and I am definitely checking it out when I visit Rochester. And looking at the comments on Rochester’s Instagram post on the new location, many, many people agree!
