Red Wing Fire Victim Identified

Red Wing, MN (KROC-AM News) - Funeral plans are being made for a Red Wing man who died in a house fire.

A death notice from the Mahn Family funeral home in Red Wing says 25-year-old Ocean-Ian Christofferson died Sunday in “an early morning house fire.”

His father has told news reporters he left for work around 7:00 AM Sunday and his son was sleeping on a couch in the living room. The fire was reported just after 8:00 AM. Firefighters found Christofferson’s body on the kitchen floor when they began searching the home.

No word yet on the cause of the fire.
