The annual Rice and Steele County Crops Day is coming up next Tuesday February 25, 2020 in the 4-H Building on the Rice County Fairgrounds in Faribault. Registration begins with coffee and rolls at 8:30. The program runs from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm. Lunch will be served. There is no cost and you do not have to pre-register.

The morning program will focus on pests, pathogens and weeds. Presenters include Anthony Hanson, UMN Extension Entomologist, Dean Malvick UMN Extension Pathologist and Liz Stahl UMN Extension Crops Educator.

The afternoon program will discuss markets. Dave Bau, UMN Extension Ag Business Management on how to get $4 corn. Finally Larry Olson AgroTech Marketing Inc will talk about My Option Advantage a new marketing tool.
