Senior Day Nominations Now Open

The Steele County Exchange Club along with the Steele County Free Fair will once again honor a Steele County male and female senior citizen during this summer's fair. A male and female who has contributed time and talent to serve the community and others after the age of 65 will be recognized during Senior Day at the Steele County Free Fair. Senior Day will be observed Thursday, August 16 at 11:30AM in Fair Square Park at the fair. The nominees need to be at least age 70 by June 1, 2018.

Nomination forms are now available at the Steele County Free Fair office, Senior Place or you may call Bruce Kubicek at (507)-451-6616.

The Steele County winners advance to be recognized at the Minnesota State Fair. Recently Steele County winner Darryl Hill was recognized as Senior Volunteer of the Year at the State Fair.

The nomination deadline is July 1, 2018.
