The National Weather Service says there's a risk of isolates strong to severe storms across southern Minnesota this evening, with the timing most likely between 4 and 10 pm.

The primary threats will be large hail and damaging winds, with heavy rain also possible.

From the National Weather Service this morning: Storms will be possible again late this afternoon, with better chances arriving this evening and overnight tonight. Storm chances will be greatest from south central into east central Minnesota and into western Wisconsin. An isolated severe storm is possible, though widespread severe weather is not anticipated. Locally heavy rainfall will be possible with the storms overnight.
