The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of southern Minnesota in effect until 10:00 pm tonight, including Le Suere, Steele, and Waseca counties.

Large hail, damaging wind, and heavy rain are all possible in and bear the watch area.

From the National Weather Service: A severe thunderstorm watch is now in effect until 10pm CDT for portions of eastern NE, central IA and south-central MN. Intense, damaging gusts (some to 75-80 mph) and large hail will be the main hazards with this activity into the late evening hours.
