The Minnesota Vikings will be looking to earn their first win of the season when they face the LA Chargers today at U.S. Bank Stadium in Week 3 of the NFL season.

The Vikings are coming off a pair of early season losses to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Minneapolis, and the Eagles last week in Philadelphia.

Both the Vikings and Chargers have started the season 0-2, looking to break the seal on the win column.

Matchup History

The Vikings and Chargers are not common opponents, having met only 14 times, with Minnesota currently holding an 8-6 advantage in the all-time series. The Vikings have won four of the past five matchups, including a 27-20 victory in their last meeting in November 2021 in LA.

Davenport has been dealing with an ankle injury since a practice before Minnesota's season-opener against Tampa Bay.

I went out there and tried it and wasn't at the place I should have been, so we were able to be smart and pull it back a little bit. I've been itching [to play]. Seeing our defense and what we were able to do and thinking about how I can contribute and add to it only gets me more excited.
