Community-Based Closings/Announcements

The City of Faribault has declared a Snow Emergency for Saturday, December 11. No parking on city streets from 1am to 8am, or until plowed curb to curb, whichever occurs later. Unattended vehicles are subject to tagging and towing.

The City of Lonsdale is declaring a snow emergency beginning 12-10-2021 at 10:00 p.m. and is to remain in effect until all City streets are plowed curb to curb.

The City of Northfield has declared a snow emergency effective 5PM December 10 until 12PM December 12.

During a snow emergency there is no parking on any city street until it is plowed curb-to-curb and the weather system has passed. Vehicles parked on the street will be ticketed with the potential of being towed during a snow emergency.

Trash and recycling bins are not allowed on city streets.

When parking lots are scheduled for snow removal there is no parking within them from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. All downtown parking lot permit holders must park in the proper lots during a snow emergency.

Buckham West in Faribault is OPEN but there will be no meals on wheels, curbside dining, or congregate care dining today, December 10, 2021

Three Rivers Action Council canceling meals on wheels today for Cannon Falls, Zumbrota, Wanamingo, Pine Island, Goodhue, Mazeppa, and Wabasha.
