What’s Going On At The Rice County Fairgrounds? Oh Yeah, Motorcycle Races!
They had so fun last year; they thought they'd bring it back for year 2!
The 2nd annual Billy Hofmeister Battle of the Twins Flat Track Motorcycle Race event starts on Friday and runs through the weekend. This year the races will take place on a 1/4 dirt track at the Rice County Fairgrounds in Faribault.
Preview of the Fun-Packed Weekend:
FRIDAY:
- 9 am - Swap Meet Begins!
SATURDAY:
- 9 am - Free Biker Breakfast / Racer Meet N' Greet at Faribault Harley-Davidson
- 9 am - Swap Meet Continues
- 10 am (ish) - Classic Car Roll-In
- Noon - AMA District 23 Amateurs Race Begins
- 6 pm - Pro Races Begin
- After the Race Is Complete - Live Music by Midnight Limited in the Beer Gardens
SUNDAY:
- 9 am till 3 pm - Swap Meet Wraps Up
- Open Track for Racers
Registration for the AMA race begins at 10 am, with practice at 11 am, and the pro race registration starts at 4 pm, with practice at 5 pm. There are no tire rules.

- Minis
- Mad Dog
- All Girl
- AM Open
- AM 250
- Pull Start
Food and drinks are by Basilleo's, Joe's Sports Cafe, BJ's Sweet Treats, and Bauers Liquor.
Tickets are $20 at the gate and $15 in advance. You can buy tickets at the Harley-Davison store in Faribault or online.
