You Can Rent the Historic White Castle Building in Minneapolis!

You never know what you are going to find when you are browsing Craigslist at the office! Fans of the burger chain now have the ability to lease the historic White Castle that is located on Lyndale Avenue in Minneapolis!

According to the listing on Craigslist, this is the first time in years the historic building has become available. Listed at 1,700 square feet and priced at $2,750 a month, the property, which is currently occupied by Xcentric Goods, will become available for rent come October. Known as White Castle Building No. 8, the historic building was constructed back in 1936 and is one of very few pre fabricated, portable buildings, that White Castle had built according to the Society of Architectural Historians (SAH). It has been moved twice in its life time as its original location was at 616 Washington Ave SE but when its lease expired in 1950 it was moved to 329 Central Ave SE. It stayed at that location until 1984 when it was moved to where it stands today. The building even has its own Wikipedia Page!
