AM 1390 KRFO Coaches Show [September 21]

Hear the interviews from the Saturday, September 21 AM 1390 KRFO Coaches Show. The halfway point of the high school football season featured a series of rival games and exciting plays and performances for Owatonna, Blooming Prairie, NRHEG, Medford, and Triton. Updates on volleyball and soccer were also part of the show which airs each Saturday morning at 9 am on AM 1390 KRFO and the KRFO app.

Owatonna football coach Jeff Williams reacts to an exciting game at Rochester Mayo where OHS overcame an early deficit for a 31-14 victory.

Huskies volleyball coach Jason Kaytor commented on the Huskies busy week which included a couple of wins at the Farmington Tournament and losses in a pair of Big Nine matches.

OHS girls cross country is having a strong season.

Huskies girls soccer reeled off three wins over the last week. Their match at Austin Tuesday, September 24 is scheduled for coverage on Kat Kountry 105 and on the Kat Kountry 105 app.

OHS boys soccer also had a busy week of competition. On Saturday the Huskies scored an impressive win at Eagan 6-3.

Blooming Prairie football won at Goodhue Friday 27-6. A big play on defense late in the second quarter swung the game BP's way.

Awesome Blossom volleyball coach Ranell Kittelson looks ahead on a big week of rival match-ups for BP.

NRHEG football played a close game with Martin County West, coming up short 28-18.

Panther volleyball had a busy week.

Medford football won the Battle for the Paddle, their trophy game against Bethlehem Academy.

Triton football won their third straight game, doing it through the air, 34-20 at Dover-Eyota.

Triton volleyball played numerous times over the last week.
