Hi, if you haven't caught on yet, I'm Shel B! I'm so genuinely elated to be a part of the Kat Kountry team, and am exhilarated to bring new staples and ideas to the morning show.

I'm currently living in Mankato but will be joining the Owatonna community in June. I can't wait (to not have to make that commute) and to truly be a part of, what I've found to be, a sincerely welcoming group of people.

I have always LOVED country music, modern and classic, but I hold a special place in my heart for Johnny Cash and Marty Robbins. These two were staples in my childhood.

Besides that, I'm an avid camper and hiker. I'm enamored with National Parks. I could literally chat about them all day. My favorites are Dry Tortugas N.P in Florida, Death Valley N.P. in California, and Great Sand Dunes N.P. in Colorado. (Honestly, I'm not even sure if those are my favorite. There are simply too many to choose from.)

Lastly, I enjoy playing card games with friends and trying out new breweries with my family. I've recently tried to take up running, but I've found that it's really exhausting (I know, I was shocked too). Plus, I really dislike sweating.
