The Huskies girls soccer team fell behind Century 2-0 just before halftime as the Panthers scored back-to-back goals about five-and-a-half minutes apart. OHS drew within one in the third minute of the second half as Ari Shornock lobbed a shot just over the goal keepers reach from just outside the penalty box. Each team had numerous golden chances to add to their total but the 2-1 score stood up for Century.

The Huskies, Century, and Mankato West all tied for the Big Nine title in 2019. OHS hosts West Thursday, September 4 at 7 pm at the Lincoln Complex for their home opener. Fans are encouraged to attend, but to observe social distance guidelines. The match will also be available on OwatonnaLive.com.
