Rochester Century got off to a good start against the Huskies Monday night in the Owatonna gym. But basketball is a long game. By the end, OHS had put the game into running time and won their 11th in a row, 90-54 over the Panthers.

Five players reached double figures, led by Nolan Malo's 20 points and 12 rebounds. Jason Williamson added 13 points. Andrew Jackson and Dalton Kubista had 12 apiece. Jared Fett had 10. Every win in the current streak is by double digits. Owatonna (14-4, 13-2 Big Nine) hasn't lost since a January 2 setback against Rochester John Marshall. OHS plays at St. Michael-Albertville Thursday, February 8 in a makeup game from early in the season.

The Owatonna girls' basketball team bounced back from a 52-46 loss at Mankato West Saturday with a 78-61 triumph at Rochester Century Monday. Sydney Schultz poured in 39 points. OHS (15-6, 14-3) hosts Rochester John Marshall Friday, February 9 on "Coaches versus Cancer" night.
